Good hunting and Godspeed Jerry!

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Just got back from the Caprivi last week. You are about to have the adventure of your lifetime! Bring lots of camera chips, you are going to burn them up on the hundreds of elephant you will see!

Who are you hunting with and where in Caprivi?

Jerry,
I'm sure you will have a great hunt/safari. Karl really works hard to
make sure you get the full experience going after elephant!

Have a safe trip, can't wait to see your hunt report.
Tell Karl "hi" from Jim & Kent.

Good luck and safe travels. Take lots of picures and write a great report upon your return. Most of all, enjoy the experience as elephant hunting truly is a special opportunity.

thanks for that,Mike. i will always be indebted to you for a suggestion several years back about taking a battery operated fan. it made a huge difference in my ability to get some sleep 2 years ago during my Oct buff hunt with Martin Peters on Lake Kariba. i left it with the PH and bought another one 2 weeks ago for this trip( it will also be left with Karl). little tips like that from the members here are one of the best reasons i know to check here regularly.

Good luck and enjoy your hunt. Might as well start planning your next elephant hunt because it is virtually impossible to do just one.

Good luck. Travel safe. Just did the SLC to Atlanta to Joburg to Maun and a 4 hour drive to Kanana and it was worth every second of that long couple of days. I would do it tomorrow if I could. Good luck. Enjoy every second.
