I THINK I'm over this thing since I've had absolutely no pain today and was able to finally do a good days work (which included watching my youngest pass her driver's license test and then go solo for the first time to show off the new aquisiton to her grandmother and friends).

Interestingly, I never actually knew when I passed any of the "chips", but I'm blood free from my "little winkie" so I guess something has happened.

As with all of you Africaphiles, the question now is how heavy the other shoe dropping (medical bills) will be in future daily rates and trophy fees... or don't all you folks measure everything that way now???

1115 and I laugh about restaurant bills.... "Dang, Dale, we just ate and drank an impala and half a warthog!"

Keep your fingers crossed for me that this isn't just a pause in the process!

I can't imagine the loss of two dear family members in a few weeks time... God bless ya'll and I hope you can find a peace in the wonderful memories of your two Dads. I'd go through kidney stones for the rest of my life just to again spend a few hours with my dad... but I thank my Maker that I don't have to; that day will come as promised.

Thanks Your Honor, for your kind words and prayers. My prayers go out to you as well. I did have great memories with my Dad and Father-in-Law. My dad gave me not only very good memories of hunting and fishing together, but he gave me his hunting and fishing genes and they have been very dominant in my life.
