I hunted an ele bull with CMS in Dande East in 2015 after the Obama embargo, so I knew going in that I was not going to be able to import my ivory to the U.S. I do have replicas. I am investing in a vacation home in Argentina as now I go at least annually to shoot birds, so I want to import them there. CMS has informed me that they still have my ivory and they need the contact information for a customs broker in Argentina to initiate the process. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I’ve thought the same for a couple of things I have… Be aware…I was told I couldn’t as the CITES was based on my home Passport (which I only have US) Now my place is in Mexico but I was told I couldn’t do an Export CITES to anywhere but my “Home Country” I hope maybe I was misinformed and am interested in what you find out. | |||
