According to Kingdon's book, only the isolated population of black-faced impala in the north are native.

Introduced that is why they are expensive compared to RSA and other countries. More than Gemsbuck at most places i have seen in Namibia.

Common impala are in fact indiginous to the Caprivi of Namibia.
