My friends,

The time has come to pack my sea bag and to deploy with the United States Navy again. This will be my 6th major deployment in my naval career and we depart early next week. Destination this time is the Black Sea area which is kind of interesting since it is one of the few places in the world I haven't been to yet.

I wish you all well and hope the summer finds you and your families safe and sound. Shoot often, shoot well, keep the powder dry and the fires lit. I will be back on the forums sometime this fall.

Until Then. Cheers

Mac

I hope you'll be topside when you pass Istanbul or maybe even get some liberty there. I've always thought it was one of the amazing places in the world and having only seen it in National Geographic, etc., I'm envious. All my time was in WestPac so I can only tell you about the beauties of Ologapo.... nut

I thank you and Semper Fi.

MAC,
Thanks for the sacrifices you make for our country, God bless and God speed.

Can you get access to the Net while your out? It seems like some military do have the ability to do so at least occasionally. Perhaps you can pop in now and then...

Bless you for your service and sacrifices. We'll be here waiting for you when you get back...

You and the good auspices of your USA military people and government are a credit to us all whom strive towards freeing society from the evil doers trying to destroy our democracy way of life and the civil order we all all want to live in ...

Hopeing you have a wonderful trip to that shaky region ( under the circumstances )

I dont know if you might get R & R time to venture onto dry land !!

Just out of interest should yourself or any others have any inclination to hunt in Azerbaijan I happin to have some commercial contact within whom may be able to assist you

Take care and thanks for the security

Your post reminds me of the two 6 month cruises "deployments" I took many years ago on board the USS INDEPENDENCE, so I sort of know what you have done and what you will be doing.

Have a safe trip.
