What a limp dick. Hunting and my rifles are who I am and my wife would never ask me to relinquish them. If she did, I would lose her.

My Wife knew I hunted, drank bourbon, and ate red meat. She married me in part because of it.

I do not understand this. He could have anyone. Yet, he allows her to dictate to him.

My wife expects me to hunt and bring home meat for our freezer and we consume game meats very regularly. She doesn't really understand rifles and guns but is not bothered by my love of them. She is such a hard worker, a devoted mum and grandma, a fabulous wife and I love her endlessly. She is completely selfless.
Meghan is a type I could not comtemplate a life in partnership with. She strikes me as being a total b..ch. I truly believe Harry would live a fulfilling life if not for her. He may feel he's in clover now but I wonder if in time the truth may dawn.

Hunting.... it's not everything, it's the only thing.

One of the first things I told my wife when we first met was that I am a hunter. She knew nothing about shooting/hunting and didn't really understand why we do it. Now she loves the fact that i can fill the freezer with game meet and she also joins me on driven Pheasant/Partridge days and on hunts in Africa.

Shooting, hunting and fishing are part of my life and always will be up until I can no longer it.

This. Sounds like he missed out on a teachable moment to explain the benefits of hunting and conservation to someone who obviously doesn't understand them.

+1 on all the above! At one time... I thought Harry might be the salvation of Great Britain...in the end...he epitomizes the fall of the British Empire.

I am soooo tired of all the press given to people like "whats her name" and other entertainers.
Their private lives are a big waste of time and yet the media treat them as some sort of component of society that is worth a XXXX.
If it is 20 years before I hear of her again, it will be too soon.

I would say that Harry is making bad choices, but it’s his life, not mine. Love is a powerful emotion. In any case, it’s no skin off my nose.

Are he and his wife active anti-hunters? Are they trying to use their fame and influence to ban hunting?

Maybe I missed it, but I don’t think I’ve seen that. In my book, that would be a different story and would be just cause to criticize them.

We all know he's not a royal really. Doesn't look anything like his "father" or "brother"!

I can imagine him coming back in few years divorced and drained of a lot of money.

Also on the news it says he is going to buy a house with his wife and mother in law! Who does that!

My wife does not hunt, but she likes to go along with me. We have been to Africa four times, New Zealand once, and all over western North America. A guide snapped this photo of us on a Wyoming elk hunt while we were glassing for elk.

What a sad thing to see a man give up who he is for a woman, especially a guy like Harry.
I have a cousin who married an anti-hunting, animal rescuer, and he gave up hunting as well...I lost a ton of respect for him because of that.

My wife does not hunt and has no interest in trying it but she fully supports me, listens to my stories and is enthusiastic for me. I have mounts all over my house and she is happy that I am happy

My prediction is that he will eventually grow tired of her and her bullshit and start to miss his family and who he was. She will get sick of him too...all of those attention seeking skanks find the next best thing and we will see a big spectical of a Hollywood divorce, with poor Harry paying a huge sum, losing custody of his son, begging his family's forgiveness and moving back to England.

I'm surprised that he fell so hard for this one...he's good-looking and charming, rich, a royal, and he must have gotten allot of good pussy in his life as well

Now back to reality.......

I hope Harry has a lot of oil cans. His wife seems to be high maintenance.

Why does anyone care? Obviously, hunting was not his reason for being and was not very important to him. Neither hunting, or not hunting, is any meaningful measure of manliness as some of you seem to think.

First of all who gives a shit about the Royal Family. Besides being the ugliest people in the world, they mean squat in the big picture. Second his wife must be able to suck a golf ball thru a garden hose because to give up hunting because a girl says she doesn't like it, well that would not work too well with me.

You are right. Letting your wife tell you what behavior is acceptable, what family connections are permissible, letting her tell you were to live- those are meaningful measures of manliness. And Harry failed the test miserably! barf thumbdown

My first wife commented, when she saw me getting ready for a Mule deer hunt, what are you doing?
When I said , I'm getting ready to go hunting in New Mexico. To which she said.
well you already went deer hunting last year. and MY reply was, Yes and I'm going again this year, and about every year of the future.
I said you are welcome to go along if you want, but if not you need to know that I have been hunting sense the sixth year of my life, and it AIN,T CHANGING THIS YEAR,OR ANY OTHER YEAR AS LONG AS I CAN WALK AND SEE TO SHOOT.
I've been married to my second wife for 58 years, and she has never even attempted to make me stop shooting , hunting or buying guns, because she knows I will not stop hunting or fishing as long as I live, and I am 83 years old, and I AIN'T THROUGH YET!
That boy needs to train his new wife better, or dump her for someone with a brain.

Echo all of the above. I knew when I met my wife that she was the one as I am the same with her as I am with my friends. No pretenses. No pretending. She has hiked all over Africa after game. Some of my favorite memories with her are when we were fishing in a catfish pond for dinner as we were too broke to buy meat. That is a keeper. Meghan has clearly sucked away his manhood.

My father in law told my Wife she may not want to marry me because I would be running off hunting all the time.

She has been half way around the world with me hunting, and has never said no when I have left her to hunt in the South East.

I hunt and she and she shops. Works out well for us.

I was married to her when I started law school. Somehow someone asked me about money. I told them I did not know. My wife was the Minster if Finance and Fun. They could not believe I could “trust someone like that.”

I told them, “If I did not trust her, I would not marry her.”

We will be united for 10 years this July.

If she decides to leave tomorrow, on the balance I am glad to have been married to her.

She had 40 rounds of STW waiting for me today.
