Who ever gets a lion to be sitting at their bait mid morning ? - well done Mike, that's a big cat and a great shot. Looks like Justin did a good job on your hunt getting all the trophies on camera. I will be in Dande for a male lion and bull ele in May, but you can bet that our lion will only decide to show up after we have left the blind.

Rob, Justin did great as usual. There were a couple of shots that we made it tough on him (the cow buff and the bushbuck in particular) but overall he is really getting good as a videographer. If I played the whole video of the lioness hunt you would hear me tell Buzz that I was damn glad we were able to stalk up on the lioness as opposed to having to sit in the blind. Sitting in a blind really plays havoc with my mind. A lot easier to shoot in a spontaneous situation than it is to have all the time in a blind -- gives me too much time to think. We walked up on two big males at another bait so don't be so sure that you will have to sit in the blind for for your male.

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve.
