I was at the taxidermist today to get the new prices and just checking up on things for my clients when they just put on the skin of this old bull over the mould. I had to take a photo sure some of you would enjoy it.

The taxidermist was also hunting with the same client for end of season buff and they knew about this old boy. They tracked him for 2 days and always on his tracks was lion as well so how did this old boy survive so long without proper horns. He was still in very good condition and notice the long hair still on him he was also very big bodied a true warrrior till the end he died on his feet with two shots with a 460 wtb. First shot let him run for 40-50 yards and then stood there while taking the second shot and slowly falling over. Wish I was there to see it.

I always try to use enough gun but then sometimes a brainshot works just as good.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

An old man's got to take better care of his coiffure than that! Big Grin

Still, I'd take that old man over a wide youngster any day of the week.

My new standard: Scrum caps and no tails only need apply! Cool
