The bigger question is did anyone use it? I checked 1/2 dozen times and only ever saw 1 person in any of the rooms...reloading.

Still there, just look under the "GO" tab at the top of the forum, but as with YD I saw no one using them.

I thought the AR forums were chat rooms.. What exactly is a chat room?

It's real time chat where you don't have to refresh or get notice of topic postings. You type and hit send and everyone sees it at the same time.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

Why don't we see if we can get something going? How bout 12 noon CST. Maybe by agreement we can get several folks on board at the same time.

We seldom get to choose
But I've seen them go both ways
And I would rather go out in a blaze of glory
Than to slowly rot away!

I will try to check in at that time. Typically, that's the way to work a chat room...by meeting guys at a certain time.

Perhaps it would be better to have a single chat room where people could navigate to, rather than topic specific rooms. I can see where you'd have 3 or 4 guys logged in at the same time, but in different rooms and each of them being the 'only guy online'. One room would work better, and might get used.

i agree untill 15-20 people use the 1 room all the time its best to have just 1..... add rooms as more and more people use it.

i have checked the rooms a number of times and never see any 1 in them of course i dont think many members even know they are there.

My suggestion would be to have a little icon light up when there are active users in the room..kind of like when you have a PM from someone..
