I know it's meant well, but we always say "may he have eternal rest" - but I say, I hope in his next life he's having the greatest time of that life - possibly hunting in an Africa-like place, especially an Africa of 100 yrs ago.
If that is what he's doing, he's not resting but burning calories doing what he loves.
My condolences to his family. He was a good friend, passionate hunter, and all around swell guy.
