Gentlemen,
SCI announced this week that past SCI President John Whipple has passed on. It is not my intention to start another firestorm against SCI, only to inform the AR community that another fellow hunter has left us. RIP, John, prayers to your family and friends.

Sorry for his loss to the SCI and his family and friends.

I know it's meant well, but we always say "may he have eternal rest" - but I say, I hope in his next life he's having the greatest time of that life - possibly hunting in an Africa-like place, especially an Africa of 100 yrs ago.

If that is what he's doing, he's not resting but burning calories doing what he loves.

Sorry to hear that. I never got to hunt with him, but I communicated with him several times. He seemed like a good guy.
