And we all saw Will Parks monster from earlier this month! Some good looking cats in there!

The lions are there, no doubt.

Last year, two notable events come to mind involving lions:

1- I was trying to whack a giraffe for bait near the Save river. Just as I got of the sticks, the lions really started sounding off and CLOSE. Way less than 200 yards.

2- When I whacked my leopard, we had to follow it. To make a long story short, while we were on this island in the Save river in the dark, we could hear lions calling from all directions. No idea how many there were. Certainly quite a few.

I have killed my fair share of lions. I have hunted all over Africa. I can't imagine a better place to go than the Save Valley Conservancy with Zambezi Hunters. If I ever hunt lion again, that is likely where it will be.

Now David, tell your brother he has to give me a discount now! rotflmo

That would be my brother-in-law... My brother keeps himself in field and doesn't deal with the finances! If he did, everyone would be able to pay 'whenever you can my friend', and the extent of Zambezi Hunters would be one battered cruiser, Jonny and Amos! Smiler Jonny and Alistair have got one thing right for sure, they stick to what they know.

I remember your story about the lions on the island when you were looking for that brute of a leopard. Got the blood pumping no doubt...

Cheers Larry, I will tell Alistair to send you account details for your lion hunt deposit! Smiler

I saw it pretty flat in January when we walked for 7 hours quail hunting. Funny thing is that it curled again after about 5 drinks! Wink
