G, how bad is the Brown Hyena situation on fawns this season? Looks like a PAC license could be in order.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

David,

There will always be losses during lamb season.

Brown Hyena numbers are not nearly enough for Nature Conservation to start thinking about PAC permits. (They are a protected species in the Limpopo province)

Jackal on the other had are responsible for killing the bulk of lambs every year...

That Kudu in the back of the photo on the right looks like a nice trophy. I know its not the best photo to judge from but what do you think his horns would measure? His body looks a lot bigger than the one next to him.

Mike

With kind regards

Mike,

I would call him a 49 inch bull.

Please take note I always judge them to short than to long...

Everything more is a bonus...
