The bushbuck is a nice specimen just exceeding Rowland Ward it measured 15 1/2 inches.
The springbuck was a LONG shot in the Kalahari. The shot was ranged at between 570m and 585m. The two rage finders couldn’t agree so we decided to take the shortest distance of the 2 being 570m. It hit in the neck and fell where it stood with a 7x64.I used the new Burris Eliminator scope with 139gr soft point at 3020fps. If you look in the sand we have written 570 to commemorate.

Makes mine look like a dink. Good shooting. By the way, I brought home several samples of Kahalari sand and used it as a starting point for trophy room paint. Worked out rather well. Impressed my architect, as well.

Brice, are there no laws against bringing in soild from overseas? Here in NZ one would risk a jail term for endangering our enviroment & risking the introduction of diseases from over seas!
