There is something that stirs the sould when looking at what I call "mood" pictures. I have picked a few from the past season that I like to share with you.

I am a sucker for a campfire picture. African TV.

The prize at last light. It happens just so often.

Safari chariot.

Never-never land. Coutada 10 under a sleepy blanket of fog out of the helicopter.

Fiery sunset. A worrying time for those at the bottom of the food chain.

The Coutada 10 floodplain at sunset is one of the most beautiful places in the world.

The customary purple Mozambican sunset.

An almost surreal canvas of brown colours. A sable herd just before sunrise.

No collection of pictures from Coutada 10 will be complete without a classic palm tree against the setting sun!

Early morning at the airport in Pretoria. The Aerostar is packed and ready to roll. Not Mozambique, but going there! A nice picture anyway.

Enough for now. I hope you guys enjoy this brief look into my world.

I love it when the "african season" starts to slow down and all the PH:s over there have time to share photos on AR.

Thanks

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.
