Mario,

I'm not trying to be a jerk (though sometimes I do a good job of it anyway Wink ) but why not just post the details of the offer here for all to see? It seems an odd advertising strategy to limit your audience. Again, not trying to be a jerk but I have just never understood why someone trying to sell something would keep vital information essentially secret.

JMHO,

John

Mario,

If the outfitter wishes to keep this to only PMs, then I suggest you do not post any more offers here from him!

This is NOT a commercial site, and we do not mind you and other outfitters making offers which might be of interest to our members.

But, all the details have to be posted.

Saeed,

First the outfitter offer the hunt to me but I'm not sure to go because I'm busy in september. But the offer is so interesting that I think to share with the members of the forum. Sorry. Is the last time.
About the outfitter absolutely is not Carl Erasmus of Mbalabala Safaris. I had lot of complaints about this guy and I will explain the situation in a new post.

Mario,

My point is you are welcome to post hunt offers, but they have to include ALL the details up front.

Is the hunt offered by a Zimbabwe outfitter / PH or by a South African company / PH?
Is the hunt conducted on confiscated land?
Is there a Quota for the elephant in the area.

If is not with a legal established Zimbabwe Outfitter or PH best forget it, they would not have a problem to give their name or sell it for this matter.

My guess the offer coming from an South African PH / company and as far that I know they cannot conduct hunts in Zimbabwe legally.
Contact parks board and confirm the hunt first.

Good hunting

Please try to get the outfitter name correct. Mbalabala Safaris of Zimbabwe is NOT "Carl Erasmus" but Charlie Stanton who is a legitimiate outfitter in Zim.

"Mbalabala" is spelt differently from "Mabala" Safaris.

I hunted with Charlie Stanton in 02. More precisely, his sons Lyn and Matt. They are wonderful people and went out of their way to provide an excellent hunting experience. I don't know anything about the other people in the posts, but I stand by Mr. Stanton. Im glad the confusion is cleared up
