I just stayed at Marloth Park, Phumula Kruger Lodge to be exact, with my family in early August. Great place and great restaurant with close proximity to Mozambique. You definitely have to be careful of the wild animals. They will walk right in your lodge if you leave your door open.

It's a very nice area (and fairly close to my home) but unfortunately has a high crime rate......... however it adjoins the KNP and has no fence between, so caution is advised. - Another reason for caution is that the area also has rabies just now and the people that were attacked will probably have to be given the anti rabies injections as part of their treatment.
