Johannesburg - An 83-year-old Gauteng holidaymaker and a family friend were attacked by a leopard in Marloth Park in Mpumalanga on Monday, the SABC reported.
The two had just arrived at their holiday home after a game drive.
A group of friends was preparing to return to Gauteng after spending some time in the park when two of them were attacked.
Both victims were taken to the Nelspruit Medi-Clinic for treatment.

Bwana91I just stayed at Marloth Park, Phumula Kruger Lodge to be exact, with my family in early August. Great place and great restaurant with close proximity to Mozambique.
You definitely have to be careful of the wild animals. They will walk right in your lodge if you leave your door open.

shakariIt's a very nice area (and fairly close to my home) but unfortunately has a high crime rate......... however it adjoins the KNP and has no fence between, so caution is advised. - Another reason for caution is that the area also has rabies just now and the people that were attacked will probably have to be given the anti rabies injections as part of their treatment.
