Hi there, Christer and I went to the Bundu show today which is a combined fishing and hunting/wildlife show in Pretoria at the showgrounds. Browsing trough the stalls we stopped at the Roland Ward stand and was rewared by meetin the well Known Brian Marsh editor and writer of many hunting books and articles. It was a pleasure to meet the gentleman who says that he is only 80 years young what a spirit ! Christer bought his limited hardcover book "A Pioneering Hunter" and was signed by Mr Marsh himself. Talking to him we talked about our trip to Namibia next week and his face just lit up as he talked about how much he loves the Kalahari. It is not everyday you meet a real legend. David it was good. Its the first time they have combined the fishing and the hunitng show previously it was seperate. But it looked to be doing well. Was only there for a couple of hours but the highlight for me was Mr. Marsh. Frederik Cocquyt I always try to use enough gun but then sometimes a brainshot works just as good. | |||
