I happened upon an episode a few years back. After watching it I saw the advertisement for the outfitter. I went to their site and had the realization that I could afford to hunt Africa. That also led me to my first DSC show a few years back. I finally booked my first hunt at last years show, and cant wait to go to Africa.

I like it because it is well produced and is a way each week to fan the flames of desire to get back to Africa soon and experience her mystery and majesty.

Good show, but I vote for Under Wild Skies. Watch a good one last evening about plains game. You can make good plains game shows.

I appreciate Dave & crew bringing Africa into my den each week.
It's an excellent show.
Now that I've sucked up to Dave properly, when can we go hunting?

The only draw back is none of the safaris are mine! Otherwise it is about the best African show around!

I love "Tracks Across Africa" also, but I agree with Ed, "Wild Skies" is every bit as good. These two shows are the main reason I own a TV. Both awesome productions.

Love the show. Not as good as being there but it's fun to live vicariously through the guys on the show until I get there.

Heck of a lot better than watching some dude shooting does from a tree stand!

Sounds like some great shows with lots of variety are coming up.

I watch very few hunting shows, but the two that I will watch given the opportunity are Tracks Across Africa and Under Wild Skies. They are a lot better than anything else.

Unfortunately we don't get TAA in Canada. I was wondering if anyone knows if you can buy a boxed set anywhere? Everyone is always commenting on how good it is and I get a bit jealous.

Under Wild Skies and Tracks Across Africa are the two that I regularly watch. tu2 Tony Makris, like Ivan Carter and Craig Boddington, is also a real down to earth gentleman and very approachable as well. Big Grin

I watch TAA a lot more than UWS simply because I get tired of seeing the same guy shoot stuff. He isn't you and me, whereas the guys on TAA are.

I HATE BOTH OF THESE SHOWS !!! They remind me how much I loved being there and that Iam not a rich Oil Buffoon (or is that tycoon?) Now these Shows have cost be BIG money making me book yet another Safari this year AND next. Curses upon you (in the very nicest of ways !!!)

I rarely miss TAA and it's companion Hornady's Africa with Ivan Carter...

We love the show for obvious reasons, and that's why we have hooked our wagon to it as a show sponsor. Very proud to sponsor this well produced and depicted African hunting experience...

Dave and Ivan:

I just finished watching the episode in which the Dutch hunter kills an ele and a buff. Great show. I really like it when you profile hunters from other countries - it communicates a message that hunting is a worldwide activity, not limited to Americans.

Keep up the good work.

The love of Africa and her game knows no boundaries-sex, age, race, religion, geographic and so on. We try to bring that message to people whenever possible. Thanks for the nice comments.
