I stopped by there yesterday to exchange a fishing reel. Nothing super impressive about the mounts except the African diorama - they have a lifesize buffalo that is huge. Anyone else seen it? | ||

I live pretty close to Rogers, so I get there often. That is a great buffalo there!! Every time I get to the store, I have to stare at it for a while. There's no problems taking pics at Cabela's. My hunting partner and PH both took photos at the Rogers store when we visited in Feb this year. Wish I had, that buff is really nice.  Just have to remember my digital camera next time I venture to the big city. ______________________ Guns are like parachutes. If you are ever in this area again you must see the Brush Museum south of Arcadia, Wisconsin. Over 400 full body mounts from around the world most harvested with bow and arrow and displayed in natural habitat dioramas. I saw a 46 inch buff that Mario PH'd in Kigosi, and the buffalo in Rogers seems to dwarf that one. | |||
