This looks like a cool hunt.

If I hunt it will be back to my old watering holes - Save Conservancy with Save Safaries or Tholo with Jason Bridger.

On the bucket list. (1) Talking to Thierry Labat about LDE at DSC. (2) A dall sheep hunt in the brooks range - more to get in shape for it than for the hunt itself (besides who does not want to go to Alaska an experience stravation, crappy food, dracornian game laws, crappy weather, over price air charters ect) (3) Something with Biebs as someone has to back him up and close the deal dancing (4) New Zealand cause the last time I was there was for under 12 hrs (5) Something with this Fairgame chap - he seems like an interesting fellow.

I'll have to ask Andrew if there are enough trees in Zambia to intercept your magazine-emptying barrage of fire at the sight of an animal.

So far to Cameroon for Roan,Australia for Water Buffalo,Romania for Red Stag. In other words wherever you guys go My spirit will also go. At 81 and pretty much just hobbling around (use a cane to motivate) my hunting days are vicarious ones only.I well remember the thrill and anticipation of it all and so far can still read about it. So go to those special places and take that special game using that special rifle and I will be there with you.

Not quite sure just yet... 2015 is shot with two military retirements to attend in FL and NM...then our son's college graduation in CO.

In the beginning stages of planning a 2016 hunt. The only "must" is use of the 470. If I remain selfish, it'll be ele or buff. If I do what's "right" I'll take my landowner buddy with me for some fun and, mostly, plains game.

2015 booked for Yukon and 2017 plan seems to be building up.

2016 still open and suggestions are welcome. Just take into consideration that Blaser seem to present a 404 Jeffrey barrel for their safari rifles in the next 12-15 months and I have a so far an unused Verney Carron 450 NE in the gun safe !

Don't worry Andrew - its just my superior reflexes and skills in operating a controlled round feed proper bolt action rifle versus Biebs and his Blaser space gun that give it the impression that I am shooting a semi or full auto when I am backing up Biebs.

Will most likely take a break from "Africa" in 2015. The last three years I have spent a month each time in Mozambique. 17 trips to date to the Dark Continent and have been in 5 Countries and taken just about everything I wanted.

Age continues to creep up and I still want to get to Aussie Land, and another trip or two down to Argentina. Off to Mexico next month for Coues Deer, then looking at Argentina with good friend and our own Juan Pozzi for Red Stag, hopefully a tag or two here in New Mexico. Maybe try for Antelope and Mule Deer in Wyoming, and a Aoudad in Texas in 2015 as well. Will prowl the aisles at SCI for something that jumps out as outstanding, who knows? Actually I could be talked into a Big Game Fishing trip in South or Central America where it's warm!! Will check my Mexico connection for "fish" when down for Coues Deer.

Biebs your typical corporate upper management mind set - all fixated on little details and never looking at bigger strategic picture.

More lead (or copper in my case often) means a greater chance of success!!!!

Think big Biebs Cool

Back to South Africa in August for plains game. Hopefully a coastal black bear in Alaska in 2016, and if health permits a cape buffalo somewhere in Africa in 2017. We will see... Planning, scheming and dreaming, if you don't do these three things, nothing will happen...

I booked a plainsgame hunt in the Save with Mokore for my son's graduation present, a promise I made him years ago when he was just a little guy and I was headed out to hunt in Africa without him. This will be me second hunt with Mokore, but I will just be the photographer and bearer of a second gun. I know he'll have a blast!
