If so and you want to have a beer, I arrived this morning, and I'll be there until about the 9th or 10th of this month...... after that, I go back to the bush.......... All you have to do to find me, is ask at the front desk for my room number and give me a call.

Several AR folks (including the "other" Steve Robinson) will be there the night or the 12th (late arrival) and we'll meet for breakfast on the 13th before various charters on the 13th.

I'm probably driving back in on the 9th or so, but if I'm still here, I'll look forward to meeting whoever turns up!

Sorry just of the topic but thought that it could have been funny.

Imagine Steve Robinson going to the hotel and introducing himself as Steve Robinson and asking if he could speak to speak Mr Steve Robinson (Shakari)! Imagine the face/s at the front desk priceless rotflmo

Steve,

There's a small chance we'll manage to meet up, the 13th is the day I MUST be back in the bush at the very latest and if I don't drive in before, I'll charter in on that morning........

Steve,

Hope your season is going well, and that the new pricing structure set by the Tanzanian government has not caused too many problems for you or your clients.

How things going?

Hi Mike,

We're having a great season thanks and although some companies have had problems and cancellations, we haven't..... The price increases and especially the way they were implemented and the apparent indecision are all (needless to say) a pain in the ass though.

As to future bookings and hunt enquiries etc are concerned, it looks like 08 and 09 will keep us busier than ever........esp in TZ & BW.

Thanks Ernest...... Those timers wil arrive just in time. I'm down to my last two and still have at least 3 more cat hunts this year! - Took a good Leopard last week with a client and have a real educated/big one (4 3/4 inch pad) lined up for someone else next month..... My first job when I go back will be to cut a few trees to improve the wind flow.

I've already checked that there will be a selection of bracelets in camp for you....... and I'm sure they'll be plenty of beer etc!

Steve,

We probably won't get to meet then...... unless of course, I get delayed in Dar. If we don't, have a great hunt!

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."
