Ladies and Gentlemen, I have added a few clips of people shooting the 577 T.Rex in my thread at the top of this forum. Thought some of you might enjoy them.

Saeed, Is the footage which well illustrates 'knockdown power'? If so it is extremely entertaining. ROYAL KAFUE LTD Email - kafueroyal@gmail.com Tel/Whatsapp (00260) 975315144 Instagram - kafueroyal

Yes it is. Which just goes to show that one does need this sort of monstrosity to kill the largest game in this world. Walter loves to show them clips of my elephant hunts, where the elephat drops like a sack of potato. "You see, that is where you need this gun. Smaller ones will not kill the elephant." Conveniently forgetting to tell them that I use a 375, not a 577.

Not a "run of the mill" .375 though. ______________________ DRSS ______________________ Hunt Reports 2015 His & Her Leopards with Derek Littleton of Luwire Safaris - http://forums.accuratereloadin...6321043/m/2971090112 2015 Trophy Bull Elephant with CMS http://forums.accuratereloadin...6321043/m/1651069012 DIY Brooks Range Sheep Hunt 2013 - http://forums.accuratereloadin...901038191#9901038191 Zambia June/July 2012 with Andrew Baldry - Royal Kafue http://forums.accuratereloadin...6321043/m/7971064771 Zambia Sept 2010- Muchinga Safaris http://forums.accuratereloadin...6321043/m/4211096141 Namibia Sept 2010 - ARUB Safaris http://forums.accuratereloadin...6321043/m/6781076141

The first elephant I have ever shot was with a plain old 375H&H, in push feed Remington rifle. It was a total anticlimax, as I had already practiced in my mind that I would fire the first shot, reload as fast as I could, and continue firing. Instead, the poor elephant just dropped as if hit by lightning, without ever knowing what had happened.
