I have one booked next year. I bought at DSC this winter. I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't work out. My 21 day full bag Safari is looking more like just a leopard hunt. Well.. At least I'll be back in Africa and for that I'll be blessed

A friend jokingly said I should start a gofundme account for a lion hunt. I did. I thought it would be funny as hell. I wonder how many death threats I will get before they take it down?

Sometimes it's not wist to through gasoline on a fire. Not just because you may get burnt but the fire can get out of control and burn many other people.

Just saying'

Cheers

I have been defending sport hunting vigorously of late and refuse to back down. It is not the time to put our heads in the sand and hope it will blow over. I am taking the Ted Nugent approach and putting it in their face. I am a hunter and proud of it. The gofundme is polite and truthful and says it will be a legal and ethical hunt. I do not expect any donations.

Fact: You are able to hunt at the pleasure of the non-hunting public. Like it or not. Jim's advice is sound.

Since it was not posted to the public I got my point across to a few of my friends that are anti trophy hunting. I went ahead and cancelled it.

Another (bow) hunter is now in the media cross-hairs for an alleged illegal lion hunt in Zim ... and also for hunting other animals ... Elephants, hippos, zebras, ostriches, and water buffalo. See:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/new...ed-killing-lion.html

You can certainly see the template the antis are following.

With all the trophy pics. that are posted here, I am afraid that it won't be long before this site gets a lot of unwelcomed attention from the liberal (anti) media.

But wait ... it only gets better with the liberal-anti-loving media. In India a leopard injured 5 local villagers. Hunting or attacking a leopard is illegal in India (punishable by up to 3 years in prison and a fine) because leopards are an "endangered species." Nonetheless, the local villagers killed the leopard with sticks and then cremated its body. The media reported the story with a "poor leopard" - "bad villagers" slant. See: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/new...sticks-cremated.html

You can see the way this is going ...

"In addition to hippos he can be seen posing with dead water buffalo which have been on the endangered species list since 1986" ... and the photo shows a blue wildebeest captioned as a "water buffalo".

The last time I saw such a crock of BS reporting was the famous CBS anti-hunting "documentary" in 1975.

Before it was half done, I asked my wife to bring the checkbook. I wrote a note that said "I am watching the lies on CBS. Attached is $100. I want to be a life member. I don't know what it costs so tell me if I need to send you more."

Then I mailed it to "NRA, Washington, DC."

Since then I've upgraded to Benefactor member and bought life memberships for my wife and two sons.

It's time to fight back. We need a pro-hunting organization. Perhaps SCI if it ever gets off its dead duff. I nominate MJines for its president.

Indy

Life is short. Hunt hard.
