If you decide to go with the Swarovski Z1-6 24 make sure you check out the EE version which I believe stands for extended eye relief. Another option to look at is the rail mount version. I have one of these and I like it a lot better than traditional ring mounted scopes | |||

On my .416 Rigby there sits an old Weaver V-3 straight tube 1x3 DG rated. This one is no longer made and has never failed from elephant to croc. Mount and QR rings are Leupold and back up is a ghost ring XSSights that can be attached in a few moments. In the event scope is damaged I carry a second V-3. I've got a 1.75-6 Leupold with heavy duplex on CZ550.The 2.5 X Compact that it replaced was too dim in the morning and evenings.Warne QD rings. | |||
