Thanks for posting this RobinOLocksley, and thanks for the comments chaps. The article was written out of context - as if Jimmy is still young and spends time at home - and there are a number of errors, but all in all I am not displeased with the result. Fujotupu/Oz - there has never been any point in dehorning rhino, the remaining stump is heavier than what is removed and it has never deterred poachers anyway. Only one thing deters rhino poachers and I think you all know what that is! I just can't imagine why the authorities have wasted so much time and money dehorning rhino over the years, to be honest. Now if all that money had been put into anti-poaching... The pictures in this article are from years ago, here are a couple of more recent ones. Glad you had a nice year Bill Smiler

Best wishes to you all this holiday season, David

Has his disposition changed at all, or is he still friendly around people?

He is totally wild 7MM, completely rehabilitated. Whenever he has been chanced upon by someone, he has taken off at top speed. Was always the intention - the way it should be. Jimmy is back where he belongs.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

Looking at all these pictures should make you feel real good Dave, and rightly so.
