Good luck on the hunt! Wish I was coming along, it's only been a few months since I was last in Africa, but I'm homesick already.

I left a huge black maned lion there one day. Hope you get him.

Tell my friends in the Selous I miss them and am saving for a hunt in late 2010.

Best wishes Mike to you and Cherie for a safe, challenging and rewarding safari. The guns are ready and they look good so you realize now that there can be no excuses when you bump into Mr Simba. We can't wait to see the photos and read the accounts of the adventure. I'm doing my part to help...I put the hard drive/card reader in the mail to you today...don't want to take any chances losing photos Smiler

Safe journeys and may the safari exceed your dreams,

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

May the game be where you hunt for it, the challenges most memorable,

the excitement nearly overwhelming, the shooting very close.

Will you be back in time for the Vintagers in September?
