Very nice photos...that impala is a hoss.
Anybody care to estimate the length of the impala's headgear?

I think the impala is purposely holding his head closer to the camera to look bigger...sorry, I had to stir

Awesome pictures, the elephant looks pretty impressive too

I think that Impala was approached by an NFL agent that wanted him to replace the north goalpost at our stadium.

Great pics..... thanks for posting.

MacD37,

That's a (very fine) East African Impala aka Aepyceros Melampus Rendilis....... which have bigger horns than the southern.

World record for EA Impala is 36 1/8. http://www.shakariconnection.c...la-gerenuk-puku.html

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

If you like hard bosses, deep curls, and wide spreads, I guess a couple of those buffalo are pretty nice.

Or he may be hoping she does. He has a look like he thinks the lion owes him money..to borrow a phrase.

Don't they ever figure out to charge a lion as a group?

The ele was seen in a hunting block, roughly estimated at around 70lbs on the heavy tusk. Ele permits in that concession are not available other than through a presidential license.

The inpala is stunning, he'd make a very eligant mount with his head turned like that.
