Anyone know if Nolte and Co. are going to be at the conventions this year?

I sent them an email but haven't heard a peep...

I flew with Nick Nolte the actor from DCS one year to Las Vegas. What a bum. Guy was totally drunk; if he didn't have his bodyguard escorting him I am not sure he could have made it.

I had the pleasure of hunting with Nick (PH) about four years ago and would give him the highest possible recommendation for Leopard and plains game - also he's had excellent results with Elephant and Buffalo in the Caprivi strip when quotas were available.

The operation he and Isabelle(sp?) run is first class; excellent facilities, well maintained equipment, knowledgable trackers/staff. He seemed to have access to prime properties over the central part of Namibia and I think his extremely high success rate on Leopard is partly due to the regional network he has established to get prompt word of any livestock kills. That, coupled with his obvious knowledge of cats and maticulous attention to detail give him one of the best success rates on Leopard in Namibia.

Guys, I know there are two Nick Nolte's; I thought it was bizarre I saw the actor coming back from DSC the one and only year I attended the show.

He is not listed as one of the exhibitors at the DSC conv. in their show program.

He has a good reputation as far as I know.

I tried to talk to him about a leopard hunt on two different occasions in 2008. He wouldn't give me the time of day.

I left and walked down the aisle and met Jonny Hulme and Alistair Pole for the very first time. I wrote them a deposit check the next day as well as a few others since then

I know that Nick is attending several of the conventions. I saw him this past November and he said he would be in ?????'s booth. I remember it was a well known booking agent but I don't recall which one. Sorry.
Not sure what shows he's attending but do remember Dallas and SCI.

I hunted with Nick back in 07 and had a great time. He is a wonderful PH and I look forward to hunting with him again someday. He is an excellent leopard hunter and his success rate is very high.

He is usually in Jack Atchesons booth and Atcheson does not go to DSC. I imagine he will be in Vegas.
