I was lucky enough to take a nice Caracal in Namibia this past September. For various reasons I am not having it mounted and have opted to display the skull. Does anyone have any ideas or pictures of displaying a small (5" x 3.3") skull? Any assistance would be appreciated.

I have a large collection so I am putting together a glass cabinet to hold the skulls. Something like a glass curio will work and it will be lighted. It will keep them dust free and curious hands off the collection.

If you only want to do just one small skull there are nice glass containers that can hold and protect it and you can display it on a table.

Though not exactly a small skull, I did this:

with my wolf skull.

I have a cat and a fox skull on a gopher skin on my bookshelf.

I would think if it is special enough, build a little pedestal for it, maybe get a small dedicated light to illuminate it, and place it in a spot where it is not obscured by clutter.
