Wolf skull display

I finally figured out a nice way to display my wolf skull. This is the skull, the previous user of which is featured in the November issue of Sports Afield. I figured that now he got famous, he needed a spot of his own.

I used some old fence posts I found in a field. Looks every bit as good as using new wood. Maybe even better.

Hello;
Looks good Frans. Did you just place him there, or is he fastened down? Nothing classier than old barn board.

I nailed a little piece of round-post to the 2x4 and that sorta holds the skull in place. The skull is not fastened down in any way. It's in a safe location where it can hardly be knocked off, and the one that does anyway has to fear for his/her life! Big Grin

I just read your article in the new"Sports Afield". Excellant article and your skull mount honors the wolf. Jerry Hoover

I like that Frans. I may have to "borrow" your mounting idea when I receieve my jackal skull from SA. Very nice.
