| For Texas there is only Houston or Dallas. |

| My Zimbabwe trophies cleared through Houston on their way to Abilene. I suspect Houston will be your first stop. |

| 80% of the international flights into Texas come through D/FW, as the first customs stop, and if so, that is where they will clear! However in Texas D/FW, and IAH are the only customs USFW clearing stations! ....Mac >>>===(x)===> MacD37, ...and DUGABOY1 DRSS Charter member "If I die today, I've had a life well spent, for I've been to see the Elephant, and smelled the smoke of Africa!"~ME 1982 Hands of Old Elmer Keith |

| I believe it depends on how your trophies are routed. I cleared some trophies in Dallas this spring, but had to do some fancy stepping to get them to Dallas for the clearance. The shipment first landed in Atlanta, and normally the USDA and USFWS would have been handled there. I called and talked them into allowing the clearance to happen in Dallas; other than that, no problems.
Apparently, the port of entry into the US is where they normally want the clearance to take place. You might want to check with your freight company to see where POE is. |
