Use Enough GunYes, it's been the topic of conversation around the world on the various news outlets today. More of the same, tired old crap. As if a lion or tiger should be docile and warm and huggy and cuddly. . . . .

NakihunterThe Gangetic delta of Eastern India and Bangladesh has the highest concentration of tigers in the world. This is the Sundarbans. It also has a high incident of maneaters.
The jungle is quite moist and very dense with many tidal creeks and mangrove swamps. it is the only area where tigers have been known to catch large fish.
The local tribals go into the forest to get firewood and wild honey. The wildlife department has been working with them for 3 or 4 decades on safety to reduce tiger attacks. One of the effective tricks was to put a face mask on the back of the head while working in the jungle.
"When the wind stops....start rowing. When the wind starts, get the sail up quick."

Grizzly AdamsIf it's like fake owls to protect your garden, or propane cannon to keep elk out of hay stacks, the effect doesn't last long.

Watch the video a little farther down on that page. A little child at the lion exhibit at a zoo. Child turns his back to the lion, lion runs into glass partition.

BuffHunter63I was at a lion rehab center outside of Bulaway way back in 2003. I was playing with some lion cubs, and they would stalk within range and then charge. If you turned and looked at them, they would immediately pretend they weren't interested in you.
Later the curator let out a half-grown leopard. He warned me to never turn my back on that animal as he was at the stage where he could turn dangerous in a heartbeat.

A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

Beretta682EI once said riding a trail bike would be fun in the Save and the response I got back from my PH was every big cat would be following you around.

WannabeBwanaThe comments are beyond stupid, but it illustrates the OP's point.
https://youtu.be/giKSrXY9-cQThe only lion attack I've seen was a large male who ignored me but when a woman arrived [this in a zoo] he headed right to the clueless woman , then turned a sprayed her !!!

Just marking his territory !
