July of 2012.
I don't know how to post photos.
My dead Cape buffalo got up as we walked up on him to put in the 'make sure he is dead' shot. Oh shit! He gets up and I shoot him right in the brisket but no stopper. I reload and decide to step aside and shoot as he passes me but trip on a rock and fall. Oh...
PH gets rid of his camera and takes a shot with 500 Jeff. again no stopper. He reloads the 500 but that round goes "CLICK!" Oh shit again!
Buffalo turns back to me and still on my knees I shoot him over the right eye with the fourth round of my borrowed 375 H&H. Buff goes down and PH grabs my 375 and shoots him over left eye.
I stand up, take one step and pat Old Trouble on the nose. He is really dead this time! NO Sh__! I damn near got my rear handed to me on that one.

You can borrow money but you can not borrow time. Go hunting with your family.

Photo safari on foot. I asked the ass to tell me if this thing is coming closer because I can only see through the view finder. By the time I looked up this guy was about 15 yards from me. After I retreated gracefully I managed to catch up to the guide.

Hunting elephant in the Timbavati we came across a breeding herd. Amazing how an older gentleman hunter found additional rpm's in his pacemaker he never knew he had. By the time we convinced him it was safe he had a Scotch and we called it a day.

Damn, if I had been there with only sharp stick, I guess the only thing found would have been a big heap of smelly stuff. Eeker
