Saw this advertised today. This is an interesting device. An emergency locator device utilizing GPS coordinates and satellites for transmitting messages. Coverage unfortunately does not extend to southern Africa, but covers northern Africa and virtually all of Europe and North and South America. For those of us hunting in remote locations this could be some good insurance. Any one familiar with the product? You probably would have more justification for this in the US than Africa. At least in Africa you have a whole entourage looking after you.
