Never been to SCI but given DSC's decision to move to Atlanta, I plan to go to the SCI convention next year instead of DSC. Never been so from those who have been, what are the recommended hotels in Nashville?

Several hotels wthin easy walking distance, we stayed at the Omni last year and staying there again next year. A bit pricey, but all of those close are, too.

We stayed at the Joseph . Definitely pricey but very nice and close .

I go to Nashville several times a year for business. If one goes out closer to the airport , near Elm Hill Pike, there are a number of more reasonably priced hotels .

I've stayed at the Omni the last two years without complaint. Staying at the JW Marriott for 25.

We stayed there in 2023, were on the fourth floor and a rooftop bar was about 100 feet away…open until about 4:00 am. Not good.

Karl, what could go wrong?

Saeed, great idea if it wasn't in January in Tennessee. I don't like cold, which is why I hunt in Arica and not Canada. Lukwati in July is as cold or colder than I ever want to be.

Downtown Nashville has many Hotels. Traffic is a nightmare with non stop building. However, if you want to go north (I-65) to Trinity Lane, Madison, Goodlettsville, Hermitage, Briley Parkway/airport area, you might find better rates. Choice Hotels/Motels give "Friends and Family" discounts. I live here and traffic is bad from 6am-9pm. Lots of upscale restaurants downtown. Dinner can run $$-$$$$. Hendersonville is a good option. I-65 North, take Vietnam Vet Pkwy to several exits. Exit 7 gives you access to The Chop House, Carraba's, Casa Vieja, etc. Search Hotel/Motels in Hendersonville, TN for rates.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

Any thoughts, good or bad, about the Westin? I’m considering staying there.
