graybirdIt's so hard to decide!
Well, the itch to get back to Africa is driving me crazy.
I can't decide what I want to hunt next:
1)Namibia for a PG safari focusing on the Kalahari species
2)RSA trip for some of the less common - vaal rhebok, blue duiker, bontebok, etc.
3)DG for leopard
4)DG for buff
So many decisions!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So little time!!!!!!!!

L. David KeithI would strongly consider the CITES animals. You never know when they will move to I or just be off limits.

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

FlagsNone of the above. Cameroon for Western Roan and plains game. It is a neat place to see if you have already done the RSA/Namibia/Zimbabwe thing. Northwest Aftica with its French influence is a completely different game.
I think David gives sound advice. Go for the CITES animals while they are still available. One the otherhand, Cameroon and CAR offer an entirely different Africa and the Niassa in Mozambique sounds great.

L. David Keithgraybird, not only CITES, but TOPS and every other catch phrase they can come up with. Hunting is being attacked from all countries, I'm in the middle of some of it on a daily basis. If you intend to hunt some of the game you mentioned in your original post, I'd put it on the front burner just to be safe. Buffalo will be here for a while. They want all cats, rhino's, Ele's and anything that they can point at as under a million in numbers. LDK

Truthful statement!! The feeling of hunting Zambia with Ele, Lion, Hyena, and Leopard about is completely different than hunting where they are not present, even if they are not on your quota.
