In between frequent visits to AR, I also occasionally look over the hunting reports section of the CMS website (one day when the ZAR gains some ground on the USD I will go back!). Is it just me or are the hunt reports slow in coming? It's already mid May. No clients show up for the season? What gives?

my guess is that people are reluctant to post them these days.

Well, not to steal any of Buzz's thunder, but the hunts started later this year than in previous years as I understand. I think the first hunts were not until April since you did not have idiots like me going over in February. My understanding is that they are two-for-two on leopards so far and have a couple of nice buffalo in the salt as well. I am sure Buzz will weigh in soon, I think he has been hunting in the Save, where he and his client shot an ele bull and a buff.

Hi JCHB

The start of the season for us has certainly been slow as we normally do our early season ele bull hunts from February which I loved ( infact my new dvd out soon covers early season ele hunts with idiots like Mike Jines Smiler!!!Unfortunately due to the ele ban we are right down on the early hunts!

Having said that tomorrow we finish off two big Russian hunts that have been a great success with 2 buff 2 leopards ( one shot at 1.30 pm) ele bull etc and I have just come back from the Save where we shot ele bull buff and plains game. We have 4 clients in the next week so expect a few reports coming in soon!!

All operators hope for a good late season though!!! I think it is fair to say that this year has been a tough one for all! Cheers Buzz

Marty/ Jim

I had hoped to have it out now but I have two clips that I need and both are actually audio of good bird sounds 1/ in the Jesse and 2/ in the mopane to compliment the tracking there. That is the extent we have worked on this dvd- i wanted it to really be a dvd that shows the beauty of early season ele hunting and that is not just the beautiful sights but the sounds as well and I feel alot of dvds miss that. I will keep you all posted- cheers Buzz

Hey Buzz, please tell me that we won't have to endure any footage of Mike Jines' little legs in those shorts on the new video ?
Mind you, I suppose the vegetation will be thick ( the African bush I mean dancing )

Looking forward to seeing the new production. I really enjoy your previous presentations. If Mike is involved too it will be good as he is a fantastic shot and hunter.

I'm very sorry to hear that Mike got stung in his shorts by wasps.
Is it true that when he went for medical assistance he asked them if they could give him something that would " take away the pain, but leave the swelling " ????

Fortunately for Buzz (and myself), in the field medical attention was not required . . .
