I know alot of you guys are not impressed by the little guys. I am. I have decided to make this my primary target this trip. Everything else will be targets of opportunity. That is unless a bloddy big leopard comes along. The problem with having more taxidermy than you have room for I guess. The gentleman I am shepherding through this trip is holding up ok so far. One more long flight to go. The folks at the crown room in frankurt have been extra kind to me. It has made the travel much more pleasant. post back soon

It amazes me how every single person that sees my trophy room asks why i shot the baby when they see the Kirk's dikdik. They don't stand around long. It is damn hard to get one.

Good luck.

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

Mike,

God luck1 I too am very interested in the small guys. They are incredible difficult and as challenging as anything else in Africa. I took Sharp's grybok, steinbok and klipspringer last year and am hoping for suni, red duiker and blue duiker with Bahati next year. These little guys are some of their specialties on Coutada 10.

Good hunting,

Mark

I have taken red duiker, klipspringer, steenbok, sharpes grysbok, and Livingstone's suni. They were all fairly difficult to take, and hunting the smaller ones really gets in your blood. I still need the blue duiker, oribi, and dik dik. On a little larger scale, I would also like to take a vaal rhebok.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."
