Just got off the phone with Wyatt. Thanks to him at Safari Specialty Importers my ‘20 Save ele will be coming home. No doubt the 2 relocations they did along with the pics of me helping put a collar on an ele helped.

Now to find a boot maker…..

Great news Frank!

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

FMC,

Good news for you! The permits are dribbling in. A couple my guys got theirs recently.

John Jackson/Conservation Force has helped submit 100 ele permits for Botswana and 20 have been approved since last Sept.

Word on the street is Zim certificates are trickling in- must be what they’re processing now.

FWIW my hunt was April ‘21.

Congratulations on getting it approved.

I might recommend Al Dos Campos of James Leddy Boots in Abilene. He made a pair of custom safari boots for me. He is an ex-pat Rhodesian and does great work on both cowboy and safari boots.
