I've been told the husband/wife team that own and run Shona at one time ran an eco weenie lodge. That experience has taught them how to run a great camp. Also that it is a deluxe tent camp Their day rates and trophy fees are on par with most of Namibia and their package hunts are very reasonble with refunds for package animals not killed or wounded. How did you find out about them?

Actually, I found a couple of booking agents, that were reccomending them. Googled up a website, but there is something wrong with it, it wouldn't completely open. Their package hunts look very reasonable. Especially for someone on a budget[me ]

Here is their website, but it only opens to the main page for me. All of the menu items are "X" out, and I'm not computer literate enough to open them.
Well, I checked it again, and can't get the side bar to work. They are blank with a small red x in each of them. Guess I'll just keep fooling with it to see if I can get it to open.

well i got their website to open and by double clicking on the side bars got those to open too. No prices listed and tried their email link for that (prices), but got no where with that either and wasn't about to try thro their regular email link ( meant i was gonn have to retype my whole question to them and I was pushed for time. I always like the websites that have the prices lsited up front, tho I know that means more work for the hosts as their prices change. Cheers!

Hi Guys I contacted Johann a couple of months ago and he told me the website was just constructed and they still had some sorting out to do. I think you need the latest flash player to get everything working. They have fixed a couple of problems and prices are now listed on the webside.
I received an mail from him a couple of days ago saying they are taking over the Lodge where they worked and the website will be updated soon. They are going to run a hunting only lodge maby worth cheking out?
They were one of 2 groups recomended to me By Ann. The other was Sebra whom I did book with. Shona runs a tented camp and looked to have a decent setup. I went with Sebra because the area they hunt appears to be completely under there control, they had been in business longer, and trophy quality looked to be a bit better. I would still consider Shona as a possibility for a future hunt because I still want to do a tented safari. I'd contact Ann on the forum and have her send you some information.
Yes it's cocked, and it has bullets too!!!

Hi Guys I looked at their website again and they have a new setup called Tualuka Safari Lodge. It seems that it belongs to them now. How about doing some scouting for us when you go over Bill ?
Tualuka was an eco-lodge and now will be a hunting property. We are looking forward to adding it to our safari options.
This is an excellent hunting area and a very good outfitter. I book for both Shona and Sebra, these guys are long time friends and my very first safari was with Sebra.

Bill/Oregon -- Please be sure to take lots of photos and give us a good run down when you get back from your hunt. Shona is on our short list of places for our father/son hunt.
