I just don't like them - maybe I'm too old-fashioned. I would like to hear your opinions.

Never thought about them until my PH and another friend who hunted with him suggested one for leopard. So I bought one. Before I just relied on the heavy duplex option. It was a good excuse to get one. jorge

I get nervous when someone starts talking about battery operated firearms equipment. Batteries in my experience, have a tendency to go dead when you least expect it, are counting on them the most, and the spares are in your other trousers 20 miles away.

I like mechancial scopes with good light-transmitting optics and glow in the dark sights. Though I'm sure they work great, I am personally leery of battery operated optics.
