I have a friend living in Windhoek through November this year and he is interested in shooting a couple of smaller antelopes or a warthog and such for his larder. Can anyone suggest names of farmers or other contacts that could provide such an opportunity at a reasonable rate? He is not looking for trophies and is prepared to do the buthering, etc. himself. Just needs a place to secure a couple critters Cool

Thanks for any advice!

Suggest to him to look in the local paper and phone book for hunting farms and start making phone calls. He should explain to the farm owner or manager that he is simply looking for a biltong hunt. That would be the best way to find a deal.

The local hunting magazines are full of these contacts. Pick them up on the local newsstand...I did while cruising through Walvis Bay last December. Magnum Magazine from South Africa especially has lots of classifieds.
