Where did you see the Eland?
Did you, by any chance, record the game you say in the different parks?

Would love to hear what/where you saw game.

Dennis I can't say I was impressed with game numbers anywhere along our route we went. You can't hunt within the parks only boundaries.

I found one place just next to Mali that held roan/koba, pigs and a few of the small ones. No eland and buff are few but there. I will most likely go here in April in the heat because the price is low and try.

ALLEN W. JOHNSON - DRSS

Into my heart on air that kills
From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?
That is the land of lost content,
I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
And cannot come again.

Impressive photos as usual. It's funny what I notice, but the retro luggage is really cool in one of the early photos! Globetrotter brand or (more likely) Alstermo????

Best,

John

I like your luggage too. When I was luggage shopping, I waffled at length between the Globetrotter and Alstermo. In the end I bought an all leather suitcase from Saddleback leather. It's heavy but I am very happy with it.

This is great work. Many people have a tough time in photographing strangers because they are shy about pointing a camera directly into the face of a person and hitting the shutter. Not only have you mastered this, you have mastered the more difficult task of knowing just when to hit the shutter. Always a pleasure to see your work.
