I'm packing tonight, shooting one more time tomorrow morning. Fly out EARLY Sunday morning. Will get to pester Greg R on the plane over. He said he is buying all the booze. beer

First stop for me is Chewore North with the Buzzer though something tells me Will only left duikers and bobos for me to shoot. Then back to RSA for some plains game bow hunting with my long time PH partners.

Looking forward to the first sunset of the trip.

Good luck on your birthday safari - hopefully your leopard presents itself on that day.

I leave tomorrow for Tanzania.

What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?

Thanks for the well wishes from all of you! After missing last year due to health reasons (it was better to stay closer to home) I am really happy to be able to return to Africa.

And it has been my tradition to start each new year of my life there, can't think of a better way to do it!

I have vowed to take many more photos than usual, I'll probably burn my digital camera up! I hope to have some good video as well.

Good luck with your elephant.

I think the "Buzz" crowd might appreciate some 'small talk'.
