Just saw this picture and started to wonder... Is the hunter gifted with some 20 yard arms, is it a very young but pre mature hunter, is he suffering from some constant hand growth syndrome or is he just using the gun of a giant?

Seems funny yes...

I like seeing Walter as much as the next guy but I wish the image was smaller.

You seem not serious but merely making a joke but for the uninformed...

It is the affect of a wide angle lens up close to the subject. Throws off perspective.

Extreme example.

Walter is standing about ten feet behind the Buffalo. The hands belong to his PH.

He is making a funny!

Actually, I believe they are Saeed's hands.

Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.

Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.
