"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

My son and I went to Zim. 6 years ago. We hunted with Doug Kok. I took a 12 incher,a 14 1/2 incher and my son took one that was 17 1/2 x 17 3/4 inches! What a monster! Wish I could post a pic.

The photo that is missing is of an older ram although not spread like the one you like but exact same length than him and thicker bases. I will post it as soon as I get it cannot promise anything as I will have to rely on the client to send the photo over.

Bushbuck was one of my favorite hunts in Africa. They are sly little fellows and if you hunt them in the day, they will exercise your hunting skills. If they are in the area you are hunting, don't pass them up. They are not large but they are very sporty!.

This is an animal to put on the "to do" list for me. I've always liked them. They got a reputation for being downright mean and very elusive.

I'm absolutely convinced this reputation was certainly earned and not just "game lore".

I'm going to cause some disturbance here and say that I like bushbuck hunting the most of all antelope hunting from my experience.
Like warthog it can happen in a flash or not.
