I think you mean Nyaminga, Nyampala is down the river and across a bit, and is hunted by an Indian guy named Rasheed. Nyaminga is where I have hunted with Alister Norton every year for the last 5. I shot my lion 2 of my leopards and a bunch of buff there, A finer GMA would be tough to come across. To bad Alister moved on. I will be in Chifunda again with Alister in 2010 dont know what month yet me and Drook need to square up on dates. Wink Maybe we can all go in Sept? Nyaminga and Chifunda share a border. Now wouldn't that be fun? Which PH not your wife.

Be sure to ask Ol' Abie what he thinks of the gays. You'll get an entertaining response Wink.

Maybe if dates coincide Chip and I will see you there and we'll share a beer and tell some lies. Big Grin

Frostbit,
I almost forgot Lhook7 is going this May for Lion, I don't know what side, Chanjuzi or Nyamina he's hunting but he is going this year.
He should have an interesting early season report for us. You going in Sept will be hot considering you live in AK. I went in Oct. last year and it was actually hotter in the Luangwa valley than when I left home in Phx. to go. Nights are difficult hot and hard to get to sleep, bring a fan.

Thanks for the correction. I cut and pasted the N-word and didn't pay attention. The PH isn't set yet.

My wife is going but will only be in camp for a few days as the plan is for her to go to Lusaka and hang out with Alister's sister.

I see from your dates that you are going for 7 days, if there is any way you can swing it you should try to do 10 days. If you do you will thank yourself a thousand times over later, the Valley is an awesome place and you won't get bored. You'll have a blast whatever you do and the DuPlooy's will take good care of you. If our dates work out we'll all get together and have a beer or three. beer

Cheers,
Andy

I can't swing more than 7 days for Zambia. I will be hunting Namibia as well and touring in Namibia for 6 days or so. Add in flight time and I will be gone from work for 4 full weeks which is a major hardship to the practice. The whole planning of this trip took on a life of its own and we have ended up with what I would consider much diversity in topography and experience.

I agree with you about the 10 days but I just can't do it!!

As for the brews.....works for me!! beer We can discuss religion and politics. hammering dancing rotflmao

Chip and Drook....quit it! I AM NOT going back in the next couple of years with Johnny and I know I will miss it tremendously. As you know, I am hunting elephant in Zim in 2010 and will miss the Luangwa Valley a lot. You boys tip one up with Alister for me. Frowner
