Anyone looking for us at SCI we are booths 4058 and 4060. SCI has us incorrectly listed in the show directory under Myles McCallum – Charlton McCallum Safaris (for the second year!)- very annoying considering we had a number of clients and potential clients email us after last year to say " we were looking for you guys- sorry you did not make it!!!" Obviously the emails to SCI about this last year went over their heads!!

To those of you going have fun I am sad to miss it! Cheers Buzz

I was thinking that is what he gets for playing around with an under employed attorney instead of going to the show.

Buzz,
They did that to me one year and what I did to help my customers find me was I put an ad in the daily newspaper explaining SCI's screw up. I put the correct booth # in the ad which took care of the problem for me. Hope this helps you

as it is their fault they should put a poster/sign up at each entrance showing the proper booth number for this and there other mistakes.

SCI HAS DONE IT AGAIN!
SCREWED UP EVEN THEIR DIRECTORY LISTING.
OLD HABITS DIE HARD.

WE, xxxxxxx, have been assigned a different booth than the SCI MANAGEMENT has published in their show directory.

And as all member know, the SCI MANAGEMENT finds it extremely hard to do anything right.

Please visit for a chat about your African safari.

Drinks are free.

NO DRINKS WILL BE OFFERED TO THE SCI MANAGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WISH TO ADD TO THEIR DRUNKENNESS!

Considering the rates charged by SCI for a booth, one would have thought that the least they could do was to get names and booths correctly listed. homer

At least last year you could find them by looking for the crowd around the booth of Buzz's papparazzi and autograph seekers.

No, he was the one being followed by plains-clothes hotel security personnel because he had "that look".

There is a certain unmistakeable familial resemblance. You can start to understand the hotel security's anxiety.

I'm not at the show, now wish I was because a couple of things I wanted to bid on, fi: the CZ rifle in 500Nitro, and the one from Champlin, in 270, and the little S/S 45/70 from Rizzini. Was told they were put on Silent bid, because someone didn't think they were classy enough for the open auction. I think a Champlin rifle is classy, and the two CZs looked pretty good to me. Better than the hokey fiber glass stocked ones on the one line bidding area. Anyone at the auction that would be willing to do silent bid(s) for me?

They had "Travel with Guns" down as booth 600 and there is another travel agent there. She told me Steve is at 323 and they had her business down as being at 323. So they reversed their listings.

Buzz,
It took a bit of reading through the exhibitor list to find your booth number, but we found the booth and Myles. Miss Vicki was disappointed that you weren't there. We heard that you were busy getting camps ready for some early hunts. Sorry we missed you. Good hunting!
